Giclee Colourful Art Reproduction | Makes for Memorable Gifts

In this acrylic painting of Tanner Street, a delightful harmony is depicted between two cyclists. Their attire, adorned with cosy woollen caps and insulated puffer jackets, acts as a shield against the brisk embrace of autumn's chill. Despite the sky showcasing a tranquil azure hue and a few drifting clouds gracing the horizon, this façade of warmth is deceptive. Beyond their clothing, a penetrating cold persists, foretelling the imminent sub-zero embrace that will soon enshroud the cityscape.

Turning back the clock to 1791, the area on the right was once occupied by the Bermondsey Workhouse. The building was notorious for experiencing periodic flooding and chronic overcrowding. Over the years, conditions improved, although it was never designed nor intended to be a hospitable place. Locally, it became known as 'the Bastille,' a place both formidable and dreaded by all. Today, it has been transformed into an inviting park, offering outdoor spaces with seating areas and tennis courts.

Enhance the ambiance of your living or workspace by adorning your walls with a thoughtfully curated collection of London prints. The combination of these prints creates a captivating atmosphere, elevating your surroundings with a touch of aesthetic allure.
