Exhibition and Art Auction
Heritage Charity London approached me last month and asked if I would be interested in taking part in an art charity auction that is planned for next month. As soon as I found out more about the charity, I jumped at the chance.
What is Heritage Charity London?
In London, Heritage Charity London supports the education of disadvantaged and underrepresented children. Their mission is to place all children on an equal footing in life and provide them with equal opportunities to prosper and flourish.
Elephant Park, London Print to be Exhibited and Auctioned.
Portrait Size 40cmx50cm
Past life experiences:
Having worked within the English Language Schools sector for many years, I am fully aware of the importance of education, especially for children who are disadvantaged and underrepresented.
When I worked in the banking sector, I had the opportunity to volunteer my time at an east London school. I was able to help children learn to read on a one-to-one basis. It was an incredibly rewarding experience that I took a lot away from. I had the chance to witness their progress and help them to achieve their goals. It was a unique and humbling experience that I'm very proud to have been part of. It is not only a great feeling to help others, but it is also incredibly important to give back to the community. This is something I will always remember and cherish.
Charity Exhibition and Auction
The charity exhibition and auction is set to take place at the Mercato Metropolitano in Elephant and Castle London on the 26th – 28th May 2023. This event will be a great opportunity for people to come together to support a good cause and have the chance to bid on unique art items. A variety of talented artists are coming together to showcase their work for a charity auction. There will be a range of different styles of art represented.
I am delighted to have chosen a pencil drawing print of Elephant and Castle for the upcoming auction. This print is sure to be appreciated by the local community, as it celebrates the beauty of the area. Not only is it visually appealing, but it also serves as a reminder of the area's rich history and culture. I am sure that this artwork will be welcomed with open arms by all who view it. The print features Elephant Park with a young boy cycling home. In the scene one can see the newly built apartments, and in the distance the old Railway line and London College of Communication.

Colourful Giclee Art Print | Perfect Gift Choice
The artist's vibrant strokes immortalize the idyllic haven of St Saviours Wharf on canvas. Now available as a limited Edition print. Bursting with a symphony of colours, the artwork captures the very essence of the location's beauty. Amidst a world where summer clouds create gentle shadows on cerulean skies, buildings' reflections dance on the water's surface in an enchanting interplay.
St. Saviour's Dock, originating from Bermondsey Abbey monks in the 13th century, emerged from the Neckinger inlet's expansion. Named after the abbey's patron, it was initially a water mill for local supply after the dissolution of monasteries. Transforming into England's first water-powered gunpowder factory, it later pioneered straw-based paper production. Dickens' era saw the site housing lead mills.

Giclee Print in Full Colour | Ideal for Gifting
In the grandeur of the Tower Bridge scene, a solitary figure takes centre stage. Amidst the awe-inspiring architectural marvel of this iconic landmark, his attention is momentarily diverted by the glow of his phone. The flowers rest beside him, their petals a silent testament to the moment. As he contemplates his next steps, a narrative unfolds. Could this be a tale of romance, woven against the backdrop of a languid summer day? The scene invites us to speculate, to imagine the stories that might intertwine with this fleeting moment captured in time.
What do we know about Tower Bridge past. Its two high-level walkways were initially designed for pedestrian use even when the bridge was open. Interestingly, these walkways slipped into disrepair and transformed into London's impromptu red-light districts, catering to nighttime clients. They ceased operation in 1910 but are now part of the Tower Bridge Exhibition.
Elevate your living or workspace with a curated collection of London prints adorning your walls. The pairing of prints creates an exquisite ambiance and captivating displays, enhancing your surroundings with aesthetic allure.
