Potter's Fields Park London | Captivating Impressionist Painting

from £150.00

Giclee London Print in Full Colour | Ideal for Gifting

This acrylic masterpiece portrays a tranquil summer moment in Potter's Field Park. It's a scene that could have garnered Monet's approval, celebrating blossoms and the pristine tree foliage. The dance of shadows adds a refreshing coolness to the path, juxtaposed against sun-drenched gatherings of revellers.

Originally a burial site for the poor, Potters Field once saw priests purchasing clay-rich land from pot-makers for burials. Across centuries, it transitioned between burial ground and pottery production hub. The term 'Potts Fielde' first appeared in a 1681 London map during the heyday of English Delftware trade. In 1618, Christian Willhelm, a Dutchman, established the Pickleherring Pottery, close to where City Hall stands today.

Enrich your living or workspace with a curated assemblage of London prints, adorning your walls. The fusion of these prints creates an exquisite ambiance, crafting captivating displays that elevate your environment with irresistible aesthetic allure.

Tower Bridge Lover Man | Iconic London Landmark Painting

Giclee Print in Full Colour | Ideal for Gifting

In the grandeur of the Tower Bridge scene, a solitary figure takes centre stage. Amidst the awe-inspiring architectural marvel of this iconic landmark, his attention is momentarily diverted by the glow of his phone. The flowers rest beside him, their petals a silent testament to the moment. As he contemplates his next steps, a narrative unfolds. Could this be a tale of romance, woven against the backdrop of a languid summer day? The scene invites us to speculate, to imagine the stories that might intertwine with this fleeting moment captured in time.

What do we know about Tower Bridge past. Its two high-level walkways were initially designed for pedestrian use even when the bridge was open. Interestingly, these walkways slipped into disrepair and transformed into London's impromptu red-light districts, catering to nighttime clients. They ceased operation in 1910 but are now part of the Tower Bridge Exhibition.

Vibrant Giclee Print | Perfect for Gifting

A captivating painting of Red Cross Gardens, radiating exquisite tranquillity, invites you to immerse yourself in its serene beauty. This idyllic oasis portrays two individuals, ensconced within the garden's embrace, savouring a leisurely interlude. Red Cross Garden, an award-winning open space, underwent meticulous renovation and restoration in 2005, returning it to its original Victorian layout, thanks to the diligent efforts of the Bankside Open Spaces Trust. Steeped in historical significance, this garden, along with its adjacent cottages, was constructed in 1886, a testament to the tireless campaigning and fundraising of social reformer Octavia Hill (1838-1912). Octavia Hill, one of the founding members of The National Trust, envisioned Red Cross Garden as a flagship project to underscore the vital importance of improving housing conditions and granting access to green spaces for the less fortunate.
